So I typed out this post using it. I had to do it on Word, though...so it's in an image.
The site to use is FontCapture; it was the only one I found that gives us the font file for free. Though, of course, the characters are limited...they said on their blog that they would add other characters, so I guess I'll go and try it out again in the future!
And also...I wonder what would happen if I tried to open a Word file using this font on another computer... :P

Learning from history
Is this called learning from history? This year, each time I start thinking of doing a gathering, this old feeling comes up, the feeling of frustration that I feel every time I try to organise something and fail, miserably, to get a response, even a yes or a no. So now, even before taking the first step, I shrink back...I do not want to feel that way again, I do not want to get annoyed at everyone involved, I do not want to be all grumpy with those people. It is a choice to make, to go through all that but end up with a gathering, a possibly good one, that I will be glad I initiated. But what if the end does not make up for the means? Remembering a certain CNY gathering, so difficultly arranged, even though everyone turned up in the end, the mood to celebrate was gone. I refrained from saying it at that time, but thank you for ruining my CNY.
Of impossibility
I can't do this. I can't divide myself again, it is not possible, I will only end up tearing myself in two, with neither piece whole.

Special flight announcement
There is this Facebook video that is really good. It is an air stewardess's landing announcement. It is too good not to share, so here I'm translating it (it was in French in the video, as you will soon see why) The video itself was only of the plane taxiing to a stop.
All this, said in the tone usually used for flight announcements. Though I'm not sure whether it's a spoof...
(This is not a word for word translation, and the end is cut off because I just can't manage to translate the joke to English)
Welcome to Toulouse, under the magnificent sunshine (we do not see the sun in the video)
...which is above the clouds.
Please remain seated with your seat-belt fastened until the seat-belt sign is switched off, which is important because the airplane can stop suddenly before arriving at the terminal. We would like the airplane to arrive before you, so that you don't get hurt.
Please be careful while opening the baggage compartment to avoid any objects falling down.
Mobile phones should remain switched off until the plane comes to a complete stop. It is useless to hide between two seats, I am tall and I can see you; more importantly, I can hear you.
Be sure not to forget any personal belongings such as bags, coats, mothers-in-law and husbands; I have had both and I do not want any more.
To smokers, please wait until you are in the smoking lounge before lighting up, and please smoke a packet for me, because I have been here since 5 o'clock this morning and I can't stand it any more.
Please be careful while alighting, especially if you have young children with you.
Thank you for flying with us, we hope to see you again soon.

Oh well, just another update
So...I haven't been writing much lately. I've been rather lazy since getting back to France...call it a "What?! Holidays have already ended?!" syndrome, if you like. After two years of having almost 3 months of summer hols, I guess having it cut into half was rather a shock.
This year is my final year in INSA, as most of you would already know. And I just realised something: in all 5 years in INSA, I have never kept a lab partner for more than one semester...or a year because we didn't change partners for the 2nd sem. If I count correctly, I'm on to my 8th lab partner. Well, 8 is a lucky number, isn't it? :P
By the way, this year our classes have changed...depending on the option we choose for our final year. And as luck would have it (though I personally don't feel that it's luck, it's more like Murphy's law that refuses to be thwarted), most of the people in my old class are in another class.
But that might also be due to the law that dictates that when there is a choice to be made, I should choose the least popular one among my friends. That has been true pretty often...though I wouldn't know how to prove this theory.
So the final detail on this update (since I have no idea what else to write about) will be about sports. As I have mentioned before (I think), sports class is compulsory in INSA (unless if you have some disease that prevents you from playing sports). So this year (semester, actually) I'm doing badminton (again). With the exact same teacher as last year. I wasn't too keen on having the same teacher for the same sport again, but since every prof has their own specialisation (more or less), it's always the same ones who are in charge of the same sports.
I was hoping that there'd be squash, but again, Murphy's law worked against me. My second choice (in case there were too many people in badminton) was to be combat, but as it was with the exact same prof I had in second year, plus it was to be comprised of the 3 same activities (French boxing, cane, and fencing), I really wasn't that keen either. Plus I remember that prof liked to hit us and ask "That didn't hurt, did it?" -_- But that story's for another time (maybe :P)

When I was young...
Somehow I suddenly thought of this song which I haven't heard in ages...
Girl on TV - LFO
...and that led me to another song...
Back Here - BB Mak
...and another.
Liquid Dreams - O-Town
Kenangan zaman muda :P
